Windows Operations Engineer

Project overview

Within the PaaS Windows Operations team of ODC-Noord, you are responsible for the management and further development of VMaaS and SaaS services for government clients.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Maintain and further develop the VMaaS and SaaS service provision
• Maintain and improve the Windows infrastructure
• Resolve incidents and problems together with incident management and the service desk
• Coordinate with development and network teams
• Participate in daily stand-ups and follow up on action points
• Perform on-call duties for severe incidents
• Knowledge of Windows-based PaaS and SaaS service provision, Microsoft Windows, and cloud technology, corresponding to KWIV profile 3.2.1 Technical Support
• Working and thinking level at HBO (higher professional education) level, or MBO (vocational education) level supplemented with demonstrably strong references
• Experience with system administration and first and second-line support of Windows, virtual machines, and cloud environments
• Experience in process-oriented work within Incident, Change, and Problem Management
• Experience with methodologies such as ITIL, USM, or ISM in a service-oriented environment
• Microsoft certification for system administration and Azure
• Experience with complex management environments and automated management processes is a plus
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties
