XWiki / Atlassian Administrator – Migration to XWiki

Project overview

For a demanding IT project, we are looking for an experienced freelancer with in-depth knowledge of XWiki, Atlassian, and Confluence. The focus is on replacing the existing Atlassian/Confluence solution with XWiki and providing technical support for the migration.

We are seeking a technically adept expert with practical experience in administering wiki systems and ideally with migration projects already implemented.

Responsibilities

• Administration and configuration of Atlassian Confluence
• Administration and support of XWiki
• Support for migrating Confluence to XWiki
• Analysis of existing wiki structures, content, and permissions
• Technical verification and transfer of content, attachments, and configurations
• Identification of potential challenges during migration
• Ensuring functionality and data integrity after migration

• In-depth practical experience with XWiki, especially in administration
• Very good knowledge of Atlassian Confluence and its administration
• Experience with wiki migrations, ideally from Confluence to XWiki
• Technical understanding of user and permission concepts as well as wiki structures
• Very good German language skills are mandatory
• Good to very good English language skills
• Involvement in an ongoing IT project
• Remote work with occasional on-site appointments by arrangement
• Project scope and duration by agreement
