PMO Finance

Project overview

The PMO interacts with numerous operational staff and managers, across all departments, to support them in the proper adherence to processes and deadlines, and to collect raw data for performance indicators and measurement.

It collects resource, product, and project data (YTD and projection to year-end), ensures adherence to best practices and completeness of data entered in the various tools (WD, ERP, CRM):

 Update of configurations (job types) and team sizing

 Projection of capacity planning, 'work remaining', and consistency

 Consumption of SaaS services for Publisher products

 Consumption of internal opex (AWS, or any other SaaS software used)

 Risks and opportunities for projects and products that may impact revenue or costs

 Communicates billing data and associated justifications to the finance department

 Monitors ordered services, commitments, and FAE risks

It validates commercial offers by verifying:

 Compliance of Control Forms or FC (pricing and profitability calculation template)

 Quality (content and form) of the contractual and economic aspects of commercial offers

 Consistency between the FC and the associated commercial offer

It analyzes timings and monitoring of internal activities:

 Ensures data is properly entered before each monthly closing

 Carries out necessary follow-ups with operational staff

 Shares its analysis of time spent and reports key points or alerts to operational teams (Factories or project/product teams)

 Provides a focus on the volumes and nature of internal activities (non-billable or not attributable to team efficiency) through regular PowerBI reporting.

It supports operational staff:

 Manages data collection processes

 Provides functional support for the use of WD, ERP Oracle tools

 Maintains PowerBI reports and incorporates new needs

 Communicates best practices and process evolutions

 Proposes and implements new economic indicators to assist managers in their budget control through PowerBI reports.

The PMO operates within the Economic Performance department.

It acts in service of the Business Units and transversal departments of the company to monitor and optimize the economic and operational performance of their activities: Budget and budget re-forecasting, Cost structure, commercial offers, profitability, operational efficiency..
