Recording: Location Independence: A new model for life (live interview)

Freedom. This is what location independence is really all about. The freedom to determine your own schedule, to pursue work that lights a fire deep inside of you, to work when, where, and how you want, to travel at a moment’s notice.

On the 25th of May, we met in person one of our valuable community members Cordt Zermin in Sofia, Bulgaria!

We had a great conversation about living location independently and if you have missed that event you can watch the recording on YouTube below.

Questions that we discussed:

  • What To Do First?
  • Advantages and disadvantages of living location independently
  • How to stay productive and focused with so much flexibility?
  • How to decide that location independent is the right choice for me?
  • What personality type best fits this lifestyle?

About Cordt Zermin:

Cordt is a Technical Product Manager from Germany who has studied Computer Science and Robotics in Berlin, Zurich and Munich before joining a Startup in Munich as Employee #1. In the following 6 years Cordt built this company from 1 to 25 employees, wearing different hats, but most of the time as the Product Lead.

Last year he and his wife took a 6 month break, travelling across Central Asia and Southern Africa, before starting on their next challenge: Living and working location independent.

Freedom. This is what location independence is really all about. The freedom to determine your own schedule, to pursue work that lights a fire deep inside of you, to work when, where, and how you want, to travel at a moment’s notice.

You are carrying your “life” with you everywhere you go and continue your regular life like you do in your home country. You can work on the go, live on the go and connect on the go.

We hope it inspires some of you to make this life come true!
