Seeking an expert in electrical network studies with a focus on dynamic behavior for a freelance position. Responsibilities include reviewing study results, supporting technical discussions, and ensuring compliance with grid connection requirements.
Responsibilities
We are currently looking for an expert in electrical network studies.
Utilization: 50% to 100%
+ Review of RMS and EMT study results generated by external consulting firms.
+ Support in technical discussions with Transmission System Operators (TSOs), customers, and certification bodies.
+ Review of study methodologies, assumptions, test matrices, and acceptance criteria.
+ Evaluation of requirements for additional studies or re-simulations.
+ Technical coordination between project teams, product teams, and external consultants.
+ Support in the technical acceptance and completion of study deliverables.
+ Knowledge transfer and building internal engineering competencies.

Requirements
+ Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on energy systems or renewable energy systems and/or 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
+ Experience in reviewing and evaluating designs for compliance with Grid Connection Requirements.
+ Confident use of software tools for network calculations and control simulations (PowerFactory, PSCAD/EMTDC, PSS®E), including automation of analyses using Python scripts.
+ Energy system dynamics
+ RMS and EMT studies
+ Grid code compliance or grid connection requirements
+ Grid-forming technologies
+ Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
+ Collaboration with Transmission System Operators and grid connection projects
