Service Description:

Support in the administration, documentation, and operation of deployable data center systems with heterogeneous hardware and software components.

• Execution of operational system and network administration as well as measures for stabilizing and optimizing the data center infrastructure
• Monitoring and analysis of network, system, and service availability as well as operation and further development of monitoring and alerting solutions (Zabbix, Splunk)
• Configuration, maintenance, and operation of routers, switches, firewalls, and other network components (Cisco Catalyst, Cisco 8300, GenuGate, genuscreen, SiNA)
• Administration and operational support of Windows and Linux servers as well as central infrastructure and network services (DNS, IIS, RDS, NPS, WSUS, DFS)
• Operation and configuration of Microsoft infrastructure services and applications (SQL Server, SharePoint, Exchange, ADFS, WAP, MCM)
• Operational support of Red Hat OpenShift clusters and Red Hat Satellite as well as automation of administrative processes using Ansible
• Execution of firmware updates, patches, and configuration adjustments, including documentation
• Ensuring network and system security through access controls, segmentation, certificate management, and security solutions (Trellix, ClamAV, TippingPoint, Nexus CM)
• Support for backup, replication, and high availability concepts using Veeam as well as Dell server and storage systems
