Advisor OPIC (detach.)

Project overview

The advisor supports the OPIC department in improving capacity management and scheduling within an operational environment.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Develop and implement a capacity model and advise on better distribution and safeguarding of capacity within the applicable frameworks
• Act as a link between operations and management on scheduling and deployability issues
• Guide and advise schedulers on complex capacity and planning issues
• Act as a specialist in the configuration of the ORTEC system and identifying bottlenecks therein
• Identify trends and translate them into tactical and strategic advice
• Develop a vision for existing cyclical schedules and formulate improvement proposals
• Address issues related to absenteeism, leave, and scheduling agreements per group
• Contribute to the implementation of a new leave integration by contributing to process, system, and stakeholder considerations
• Act as a critical discussion partner in projects and changes related to planning, capacity, and leave
• Working and thinking level at least HBO level
• 3 to 5 years of experience as an advisor in an operational environment
• Experience in capacity management and developing or optimizing capacity models
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations regarding scheduling and deployability, such as the Working Hours Act
• Experience in analyzing, configuring, and optimizing work processes
• Experience in translating operational issues into applicable advice for management
• Experience with ORTEC
• OWS is recommended
• Experience in developing or adjusting cyclical schedules is recommended
• Knowledge of sustainable scheduling is a plus
• Experience within a 24/7 operational environment is recommended
