The assignment includes advising on data protection within the municipal organization, in collaboration with the Privacy Office and the Data Protection Officer.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Advising on the protection of personal data within the organization
- Reviewing data processing agreements
- Coordinating the handling of data breaches
- Maintaining and updating the register of processing activities
- Handling GDPR requests
- Supporting operational teams with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA's)
- University or HBO education in a business or legal field
- Minimum 2 years of experience with the GDPR and related legislation
- Minimum 4 years of demonstrable experience in a role as privacy advisor or privacy officer
- Minimum 3 years of experience with GDPR-related legislation in the past 5 years
- Demonstrable work experience gained within a municipal organization
- Knowledge of processes within municipalities and of information security
- Legal affinity and skill to communicate complex topics understandably
