Senior Project Manager – Public Sector & IT/Telecommunications / Satellite Communications
In close cooperation with our international team in France, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) residing in Germany starting mid-November 2026.
In this position, you will independently manage complex large-scale projects in the public sector from initiation to successful completion. You will act as the central interface between internal subject matter experts, international stakeholders, external service providers, and the client to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Project Leadership & Management: Holistic planning, leadership, and management of complex large-scale projects throughout their entire lifecycle.
- Scope & Budget Management: Definition of project goals and deliverables, development of budget plans, and proactive management of scope changes and risks (including creation of contingency plans).
- Resources & Silo-Breaking: Determination of resource requirements, targeted delegation of tasks, and promotion of interdisciplinary collaboration across silos and international teams.
- Stakeholder & Client Communication: Establishment of clear communication structures and regular reporting to clients, steering committees, and senior management.
- Project Culture & Best Practices: Identification and moderation of conflicts, conducting project wrap-ups and use-case presentations, and continuous development of internal PM standards and templates.
- Project Experience in the Public Sector: Demonstrable success in managing projects in the public sector (Must-Have).
- Senior Project Management: Sound, multi-year experience in agile and classic project management (including budget, risk, and resource management).
- Technical Understanding: Good basic technical understanding in the areas of IT, telecommunications, IP networks, or satellite communications.
- Language Skills: Business fluent German and fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Tools: Advanced to excellent knowledge of MS Project and MS Office.
- Personality & Mobility: Residence in Germany, strong customer orientation, assertiveness, and willingness to travel to Cologne (driver's license and valid passport required).
- Previous experience in Defence projects.
- Knowledge of French for collaboration with the core French team.
- Solid academic background (Master's/Diploma in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or Business Administration).
