AI Consultant / Developer

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced AI Consultant and Developer for an international project in the field of Enterprise AI. You will be working for a global production organization and will develop and manage AI use cases from the proof-of-concept phase to a stable production environment.

Your tasks include the development of LLM-based applications, AI agents, and intelligent assistants (RAG, semantic search, chat assistants, document processing, and multi-stage agent workflows). You will integrate these systems with enterprise applications and be responsible for deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. Furthermore, you will collaborate with business teams to identify and prioritize high-value use cases and define reusable AI standards and reference architectures.

Requirements

Experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, or Logistics is an advantage.

Contract: 12 months (with option to extend), 100% Remote, Freelance basis.

• Proven hands-on experience in AI Engineering, AI Consulting, or Software Engineering
• Strong Python skills and experience with production-ready backend services and APIs
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI (Prompt Engineering, Tool Calling, structured outputs)
• RAG Implementation: Vector Search, Embeddings, Document Ingestion
• Agentic AI: Orchestration, Planning, Memory Management, Guardrails
• Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar
• DevOps knowledge: Git, CI/CD, Docker, Cloud Deployment
• Production experience with AI systems: Monitoring, Performance Tuning, Cost Management
• Secure coding, data privacy, and responsible AI practices
• Ability to explain complex technical topics understandably to business stakeholders
