For a demanding project in the enterprise environment, we are looking for an experienced AI Engineer / AI Solution Architect (m/f/d) for the complete technical implementation of an AI-powered analysis and optimization platform.

The goal of the project is to automatically assign existing fault-clearing information to IT events that occur and, based on this, to provide AI-powered instructions and solution suggestions for further fault clearing.

This is explicitly a hands-on implementation role – from architecture and model selection, through data engineering, RAG, and model optimization, to productive integration and handover.

• Several years of experience in implementing productive AI/ML solutions in a regulated enterprise environment, as well as in integrating and connecting AI interfaces
• Very good practical knowledge of LLMs, embedding, reranking, speech, and OCR models, as well as in their selection, combination, and orchestration, e.g., Qwen, Mistral, Gemma, GPT-OSS, Whisper, or comparable models
• Profound experience in building productive RAG architectures, including vector index, prompt engineering, hallucination control, and model combination
• Very good knowledge of data engineering, especially data pipelines, data cleaning, anonymization, feature engineering, and connection to relational databases like MariaDB
• Experience with model training, fine-tuning, hyperparameter optimization, and automated retraining
• Experience in building automated test and quality frameworks, including unit, integration, and system tests, as well as evaluation based on precision, recall, and F-score
• Knowledge of Explainable AI and fairness analyses, for example with SHAP or LIME, as well as experience with AI governance or risk control requirements
• Experience in putting solutions into production, go-live support, technical documentation, and handover to operations
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical content in workshops and training materials
• Confident handling of GDPR, confidentiality, data protection, and security regulations
