Seeking an experienced AI Engineering Lead to guide the technical implementation of enterprise AI transformation programs in a leading financial institution. This role involves leading multiple AI pods, defining technical strategy, establishing engineering standards, and ensuring the successful delivery of AI-powered solutions.
Project overview
We are looking for an experienced AI Engineering Lead to guide the technical implementation of enterprise AI transformation programs in a leading financial institution. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical delivery of multiple AI pods, defining the technical strategy, establishing engineering standards, and ensuring the successful deployment of AI-powered solutions in the areas of corporate banking, lending, onboarding, and intelligent automation.
As an AI Engineering Lead, you will provide hands-on leadership in architecture, AI engineering, platform integration, evaluation, governance, and AI delivery practices. You will lead AI engineering teams in the implementation of enterprise AI solutions, define technical roadmaps and delivery strategies, and manage multiple AI pods as well as cross-functional engineering teams. You will drive the adoption of best practices and standards.
Your responsibilities include defining architectural patterns for AI agents, workflows, and enterprise AI services, reviewing technical designs, and ensuring compliance with enterprise governance requirements. You will design advanced agentic AI architectures, develop scalable AI workflows, and build intelligent agent ecosystems. As a technical authority, you will act in code reviews, release governance, and engineering quality. You will implement AI evaluation and regression testing frameworks and drive AI-powered engineering practices.
Responsibility for security, data privacy, compliance, and responsible AI controls is central. You will mentor AI engineers, engage with business stakeholders and architects, and foster continuous improvements.
Required are 15+ years of software engineering experience, 8+ years of leading teams on AI/ML solutions, and at least 3 years of experience with production Generative AI and Agentic AI applications. Expertise in AI engineering leadership, agent architecture, Generative AI, AI platform engineering, and enterprise AI governance is necessary.
