- Practical experience in building AI agents or conversational workflows on a suitable platform.
- Sound backend knowledge in Python and/or Node.js/TypeScript and experience with REST APIs.
- Confident handling of API authentication, webhooks, and resilient integration patterns.
- Experience with structured data, JSON schemas, and defined data contracts.
- Practical experience in testing, QA, and debugging of agents, as well as clear written communication and structured documentation.
Nice to have
- Experience with CRM, ticketing, or CMS systems, as well as messaging and mail infrastructures.
- Knowledge in compliance-sensitive automations and the implementation of auditable processes.
- Experience in hosting, infrastructure, or trust and safety/abuse handling.

- Design and implement AI agents and conversational workflows – from prompt and flow design to tool and function calling.
- Develop and integrate backend services and REST APIs with Python and/or Node.js/TypeScript.
- Implement robust API connections, including authentication, webhooks, retries, idempotency, rate limits, and error handling.
- Design JSON schemas, structured responses, and clear data contracts between the agent platform and backend.
- Systematically test agents before go-live, including multi-stage dialogues, ambiguous inputs, and critical tool call scenarios.
- Conduct staged or shadow mode validations and controllably transfer changes to live operation.
- Analyze agent behavior using logs and traces, identify root causes of errors, and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance-compliant, auditable processes and traceable technical documentation.
