Job description
Experienced CRM consultant needed to analyze existing systems and processes, and lead the introduction of a central CRM system across Europe. The role involves defining target states, preparing technical implementation, and managing the project rollout.
Project overview
For a project within our client environment, we are looking for an experienced CRM consultant with in-depth functional and technical expertise, comprehensive practical experience with various CRM systems, and a solid understanding of sales processes. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing the existing system and process landscape and, based on this, leading the introduction of a central CRM system as project manager.
Starting Situation and Objectives:
- The European CRM landscape consists of historically grown systems and different data pools. A unified CRM is not yet available.
- The first step is to investigate how existing solutions are used, which sales processes they support, and what potential can be unlocked through a common platform.
- The goal is to systematically analyze the current situation, develop a functional and technical target state, and set up the project for the introduction of a central, Europe-wide usable CRM. System landscape, data quality, sales processes, and future usage will be considered together.
Responsibilities
- Conduct current state analysis: Record and evaluate existing CRM systems, data pools, interfaces, and usage patterns in the European companies.
- Analyze workflows from lead capture through opportunity management to customer support and identify differences between countries and units.
- Identify weaknesses in data quality, transparency, collaboration, and reporting, and derive concrete improvement measures.
- Moderate workshops with Sales, Management, IT, and other relevant departments and prioritize requirements and use cases.
- Develop a common target state
- Define uniform core processes, data structures, responsibilities, and usage standards, and consider justified local requirements.
- Prepare technical implementation: Work with IT to develop requirements for system integration, data migration, authorizations, and operation, and prepare for any necessary system selection.
- Structure project scope, work packages, roles, decision-making paths, resource requirements, and risks, and create a reliable roadmap with piloting and phased rollout.
Requirements
Utilization: 3-4 days / week
- Several years of experience in managing CRM projects or comparable transformation and IT implementation projects, ideally in an international environment.
- Solid understanding of sales processes and the practical use of CRM by sales organizations.
- Experience in current state analyses, requirements management, and harmonization of processes across multiple organizational units.
- Good technical understanding of CRM systems, interfaces, data migration, and dependencies within an IT landscape.
- Ability to mediate between business departments and IT, bring together different interests, and prepare decisions.
- Structured, independent way of working, as well as strong moderation and communication skills; confident communication in an international environment.
