API Migration Developer Zvw

Project overview

The assignment involves replacing the existing XML/sFTP exchange with a JSON-REST API for the Zvw regulations.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Build the API based on the established OpenAPI contract, following API-first principles
• Implement validations and error handling according to problem+json
• Set up two-way TLS security (mTLS) with PKIoverheid certificates
• Connect the API with OHI and the Oracle database
• Realize the migration from XML/sFTP to the new API
• Set up automated test sets and a CI/CD pipeline
• Prepare transfer documentation for management
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a backend developer in Java, for example with Quarkus, Spring Boot, or Jakarta EE
• Demonstrable experience with API-first development based on OpenAPI 3.x and associated code generation
• Experience in building REST APIs in accordance with the NLGov REST API Design Rules
• Experience with government PKI, including PKIoverheid certificates, two-way TLS, and certificate management
• Knowledge of XML/XSD and JSON/JSON Schema, including mutual conversion, supplemented with experience in Oracle SQL, preferably PL/SQL
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and working within a DevOps team
• Knowledge of and experience with Oracle Health Insurance (OHI) is a plus
• Experience with the Digikoppeling REST API profile, FSC, or government gateways is a plus
• Experience with migration from sFTP or file connections to APIs is a plus
• Knowledge of the Zvw, source retention, or chains with the UWV is a plus
