Experienced app tester needed for a government agency to ensure the quality of a national mobile solution for digital identity and certificates within an agile, cross-functional team.

About the assignment
Our client, a government agency within digitalization, is looking for an experienced app tester for an agile, cross-functional development team. The team is building a national mobile solution for digital identity and digital certificates. You will ensure the quality of the app and the interaction between its parts. This includes interpreting requirements, developing and conducting risk-based tests, troubleshooting, collecting logs and crash reports, installing and verifying test versions, and preparing documentation for release decisions.
The role also includes practical accessibility testing with VoiceOver and TalkBack, and you should be able to independently detect visual deficiencies in animations, transitions, texts, contrasts, and design elements. The team works with AI tools and DevSecOps principles, and you are expected to come up with your own suggestions for how processes can be improved.

- At least 4–8 years of experience as a tester. You can work independently, take responsibility for a sub-area, and be a role model for less experienced colleagues.
- Practical experience in testing user flows, device-specific behavior, integrations, and regression in mobile apps on both iOS and Android.
- Practical knowledge of testing and troubleshooting tools for iOS and Android.
- Experience with accessibility testing and secure handling of test data.
- Experience with digital identity, authentication, and testing against standards.
- Experience with manual testing.
- Experience with defect management, test documentation, and structured test management in Jira, Confluence, and Xray or equivalent.
- Experience with API testing tools like Bruno or Postman.
- Experience with API testing and test automation.
- Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently.
