Application Developer Industrial Image Processing

Project overview

We are looking for an application developer for the development and further development of software solutions in the field of industrial image processing and inspection systems. The location is Trier, Rhineland-Palatinate, with on-site working.

Your tasks include the development of image processing solutions, integration of camera technology and vision systems into automated production facilities, and optimization of existing applications regarding performance and functionality. You will carry out tests and quality assurance measures, support the commissioning of systems at the customer's site, and analyze technical faults during operation. You will work closely with the software development, automation, design, and project management departments.

Modern technologies such as HALCON, OpenCV, MATLAB, and Python are used. You will develop individual customer solutions in the field of Machine Vision and support the implementation of innovative image processing and inspection concepts for a wide range of industrial applications.

You bring with you: a completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field, initial knowledge in image processing or automation technology, and basic knowledge of programming languages such as C++, C#, or Python. Good mathematical and technical understanding are required. Experience with industrial interfaces (GigE Vision, USB3 Vision) and knowledge in digital signal and image processing are desirable. You are willing to undertake national and international business trips and have good German (B2) and English language skills.
