Data is becoming increasingly important for the energy transition, and you, as an asset data employee in Venlo, play an essential role in it. The focus of the work is increasingly shifting to data quality. You will have the right conversation with the internal customer (mechanic, supervisor, engineer) to jointly ensure data quality. You are also flexible and enjoy adapting to changes. You are capable of transferring your acquired substantive knowledge and experience to new colleagues in the future and guiding them in their development.

This is how you take on this challenge

In addition to the GEN training courses (Smallworld/GIS) to be followed, you will also be guided by your direct colleagues to reach the desired level within a foreseeable time, partly through your own application of the required competencies. Ensuring that we always process current and correct technical data in our systems is not only important for our customers but is also essential for the safety of our colleagues in the field! The further digitization of tasks and processes will continue for some time. You enjoy thinking along with all these changes and adopting new working methods.

• You work closely with departments and employees who provide data, such as mechanics, supervisors, engineers, and technical specialists.

Responsibilities

The Data Processing team of the Engineering and Construction department in Venlo consists of approximately 16 employees, including asset data employees, engineering employees, and a team manager, where a pleasant atmosphere, open communication, and personal development form the basis for good mutual cooperation to achieve team goals. We expect you to be able to work well together, plan and organize, and work independently. In addition, you take initiative, are primarily driven, eager to learn, quality- and result-oriented, and possess good oral and written communication skills. You are assertive and ask the 'why' question to create clarity.

• You process cable, pipeline, and technical data in the company systems based on delivered (project) revisions and data projects.
• You are responsible for the registration and control of above-ground assets.

• You have a vocational college (MBO+) working and thinking level, preferably in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or civil engineering.
• You are proficient with software programs, including graphical systems.
• You live in the North Limburg region.
