Associate Director Finance & Accounting Advisory

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Finance professional at Associate Director level for a challenging, project-based role with a leading organization in Abu Dhabi. This is a 12-month contract term with potential for extension.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution in the areas of budgeting, cost allocation, and intercompany charges for centralized corporate functions operating across multiple group entities. You will lead a team, coordinate priorities, and oversee the quality of deliverables.

Your responsibilities include leading budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for centralized corporate costs, managing cost allocation methodologies and intercompany charges, developing and reviewing financial models, and preparing management reports and analyses. You will act as a senior point of contact for finance leadership and advise stakeholders on charging methodologies and their financial implications. Furthermore, you will identify opportunities for process optimization through automation and modern analysis tools.

You bring at least 10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience and hold a recognized professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent). You have proven expertise in multi-entity cost allocation, intercompany charges, and complex group structures. Your advanced skills in financial modeling and Excel, as well as your experience with automation and analysis tools, complete your profile. Excellent executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills are required.

The role is located onsite in Abu Dhabi.
