Authorization Concept & Entitlement Onboarding Support Agent (m/f/d) – 9 Consultants – From immediately – 6+ Months (Remote / Onshore Germany or Nearshore Europe)

For our end client in the international enterprise IT environment, we are looking for 9 experienced consultants (m/f/d) for freelance support in the structured transfer of existing authorization and entitlement concepts into a new cloud-based documentation tool.

The focus is on consulting and coordinating Application Owners and IT teams within the scope of onboarding entitlement structures, entitlements, and associated governance processes. The goal is to review existing documentation, identify missing information, and ensure complete, traceable, and audit-proof documentation.

The activity is primarily advisory, coordinating, and documentation-oriented. Professional responsibility and final approval remain with the respective Application Owner.

Responsibilities

• Analysis and review of existing authorization and entitlement documentation as well as existing entitlement structures
• Structuring, preparation, and coordination of the onboarding of applications and authorization concepts into a cloud-based documentation tool
• Consulting and support of Application Owners, IT Managers, and technical teams throughout the entire onboarding process
• Pre-filling and maintenance of the documentation tool based on available information
• Identification of documentation gaps, inconsistencies, and unclear authorization and access classifications
• Support in documenting privileged, sensitive, technical, shared, and emergency access
• Documentation of account and entitlement lifecycle processes as well as access review and recertification requirements
• Clarification and documentation of responsibilities, approval processes, and entitlement owners
• Preparation, moderation, and follow-up of coordination, review, and final approval meetings
• Ensuring structured and consistent documentation, taking into account relevant IAM governance and compliance requirements

• Sound knowledge in the area of Identity & Access Management (IAM), especially authorization concepts, authorization structures, and entitlement management
• Practical experience in documenting applications, authorization models, or access management processes
• Good understanding of Access Governance, authorization risks, access criticality, and recertification processes
• Experience in collaborating with Application Owners, IT departments, and technical stakeholders
• Ability to systematically analyze existing documentation and identify missing or contradictory information
• Experience in preparing and moderating workshops, coordination meetings, and approval processes
• Strong communication skills as well as a structured, meticulous, and independent way of working
• Good English skills for collaboration in international project teams
• Experience with IAM/IGA solutions and cloud-based governance or documentation tools
• Knowledge in Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Access Reviews, and Segregation of Duties (SoD)
• Experience with privileged access (PAM), technical accounts, and emergency access management
• Project experience in large enterprise IT environments or regulated industries
• Knowledge of relevant IT security and compliance standards
