BMC Helix Developer

Project overview

For a project in IT Service Management, an experienced BMC Helix Developer is sought. The focus is on the development, customization, and integration of functions within the BMC Helix ITSM ecosystem with a focus on Digital Workplace Advanced and backend components. The activity takes place in an agile environment with a hybrid working method.

Responsibilities

• Development and customization of solutions within BMC Helix ITSM and Digital Workplace Advanced
• Creation and extension of service catalogs, service requests, and workflows
• Development and configuration of forms, active links, filters, and escalations
• Implementation of requirements in BMC Helix Innovation Studio
• Development and integration of REST and GraphQL interfaces
• Automation of processes with Flow Designer and Process Designer
• Customization of widgets, UI components, and role and authorization concepts
• Collaboration with business departments, product owners, and service management teams
• Optimization of existing processes and support for automation initiatives

Requirements

• Several years of experience in development with BMC Helix ITSM and DWP(a)
• Sound knowledge of current BMC Helix versions and their architecture
• Experience with AR System Development and Innovation Studio
• Knowledge of ITIL processes such as Incident, Change, and Request Management
• Experience with REST and GraphQL interfaces
• Knowledge of container-based deployment environments such as Kubernetes or Rancher
• Confident handling of deployment and packaging processes
• Agile working method and experience with Scrum or Kanban
• Strong communication skills and independent working style
