Job description
Lead a comprehensive renovation project as a Building Manager, acting as the client's representative and coordinating all stakeholders from planning to handover.
Project overview
- Cross-functional project management and client representation throughout the entire renovation project
- Recording, coordination, and prioritization of requirements from internal departments
- Central coordination between engineering office, facility management, production, IT, occupational safety, and other stakeholders
- Active management and consistent tracking of the commissioned engineering office, including planning progress, work packages, deadlines, and deliverables
- Technical plausibility check of technical plans and concepts, especially in the areas of building infrastructure, power supply, electrical installation, and cabling
- Ensuring timely clarification of technical interfaces and open issues
- Preparation and facilitation of necessary decisions on the company side
- Monitoring project budget, schedule, milestones, and project risks
- Coordination of internal prerequisites for structural and technical implementation
- Regular reporting to management and consistent tracking of measures and escalations
- Accompanying the implementation, acceptance, and handover of the renovated areas

- Completed technical degree or technician/master craftsman qualification, preferably in electrical engineering, building technology, utility engineering, or civil engineering
- Several years of experience in technical building management, industrial construction, or renovation of existing and production buildings
- Sound technical understanding of building infrastructure and technical building equipment (TGA)
- Good knowledge of power supply, electrical installation, cable trays, building cabling, and technical supply systems
- Experience in handling technical planning documents and in the technical management of external engineering offices
- Knowledge of relevant structural, technical, and safety-related requirements
