Seeking a Data Business Analyst for a long-term mission in the banking/finance sector in the Paris region, focusing on an operational risk BI platform. The role involves bridging business and development teams within an Agile framework.
Project overview
We are looking for a Data Business Analyst for a long-term mission with our client in the banking/finance sector in the Paris region, to work on an operational risk BI platform. You will support the application manager, act as the link between the Risk business teams and the developers, and contribute to the quality of a decision-making product managed in Agile.
Your missions:
You will join Ingéniance on a permanent executive contract, as part of a community of experts. On-site presence required 50% of the time.

Profile sought
You have 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Project Manager on data or BI projects. You are proficient in SQL and familiar with decision-making systems, databases, and data flow management. An aptitude for Cognos and Tableau is expected, Dataiku is a plus. You know how to write user stories, design and execute tests, and work in Agile. Fluent English. You are comfortable leading workshops, documenting and analyzing, with good interpersonal skills.

- Gather and formalize business needs from the Risk function
- Write user stories and prototype some of them using your data knowledge
- Write test cases, execute them, and formalize the results
- Lead workshops with the application manager, the technical lead, and the Risk teams
- Participate in report design (Cognos, Tableau)
- Analyze data in SQL, with an evolution towards Dataiku
- Ensure follow-up and communication with the development team
