Project overview
We are looking for a long-term mission for our client in the banking/finance sector near Paris for a SEPA payments functional expert, on a permanent executive contract with Ingéniance. You will be part of a team dedicated to SEPA payments at a major investment bank.
Your role: ensure the functional consistency and end-to-end design of credit transfer (SCT) and direct debit (SDD) flows.

Profile sought
You have senior experience (over 15 years) in banking payments, with in-depth knowledge of SEPA payments (SCT and SDD). You are recognized for your business analysis, Business Requirements writing, and end-to-end payment solution design skills in a complex banking environment. You know how to lead projects, challenge solutions, and manage multiple files concurrently. Fluent English is essential: it is the working language. Rigor, autonomy, leadership, strong written and oral communication skills, and synthesis skills for management are your assets.

- Analyze impacts on the existing system and define target and tactical trajectories.
- Translate complex business needs into clear functional requirements to enable costing and planning.
- Design a global and consistent solution with back-end application teams, and contribute to Business Requirements.
- Orchestrate exchanges between the components of the payment chain: acquisition, processing, accounting, reporting, billing.
- Act as the primary contact for users, business stakeholders, and operational teams, and manage multiple requests in parallel, from need to post go-live.
- Define the testing strategy, prepare test data sets, execute end-to-end tests, and analyze anomalies.
- Participate in the Go/No Go decision and the post-production monitoring period, supporting production teams.
