Business Analyst Data Management

Project overview

As part of the Data Management for Reliable AI project within JIVC/COMMIT, you will contribute to the setup of a Data Management Platform.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Translating business needs into clear requirements for data products and the platform
• Ascertaining the underlying demand and coordinating with data and platform engineers
• Drafting epics and fulfilling a connecting role in the discovery and realization phase
• Acting as a sparring partner and ambassador for data and data management within the organization
• Collaborating with project leader, data management experts, an enterprise data architect, and engineers
• Contributing to the transition to a federated data architecture within the Ministry of Defence
• Minimum of 4 years of demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst Data Management
• Experience with the implementation and setup of enterprise Data Management/Data Governance platforms
• Bachelor's degree and/or minimum of 4 years of work experience at a Bachelor's level of work and thinking
• Knowledge of data management concepts such as metadata management, data catalog, data quality, lineage, privacy, data modeling, and data security
• Solid knowledge of data, data sources, datasets, metadata, data models, and data products
• Experience with translating wishes regarding business and governance into requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• An Agile certificate and/or at least 1 year of practical experience with Agile working
• Experience gained within a complex organization, preferably with a federated structure
• CDMP certificate is a plus
• Experience gained within central government, preferably within the security domain
