Data Management Consultant

Project overview

As a Data Management Consultant, you will contribute to federated data management within the Ministry of Defence.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Setting up organization-wide standards, guidelines, tooling, and knowledge at a central level
• Supporting the implementation of federated data management per Ministry of Defence component
• Drafting and implementing policy, standards, and procedures for data management activities
• Ensuring the quality of data management activities
• Coordinating with the project leader, enterprise data architect, data engineers, and platform engineers
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Management Consultant or in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree and/or minimum 2 years of experience at a Bachelor's work and thinking level
• Experience with change management within a large organization of at least 250 FTE
• Experience with drafting policy, standards, and processes for data management
• Knowledge of federated data architecture and data mesh
• Knowledge of data quality, data lineage, metadata management, access control, and/or data modeling
• Agile certification and/or experience with Agile working
• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) diploma
• Work experience gained in central government or in the security domain (Police, NCTV, Justice, Defence, Judiciary)
