Context

The scope of the mission is the Enterprise Data Dictionary project, which aims to provide BPCE-SI with a unified repository of company data. This repository is structured in two complementary layers:

The project must also define the relationships between these two layers, for example, by linking a business term to one or more data elements, while clearly distinguishing the business meaning from the technical representation.

• Business Glossary: terms, definitions, synonyms, scopes, and usage rules shared by the business units.
• Data Dictionary: description of the company's metadata—definition, structure, format, management rules, sources, and known uses.
• Gather and formalize the needs of users and stakeholders.
• Lead the functional design of the Enterprise Data Dictionary.
• Contribute to populating the dictionary.
• Support the development and acceptance testing of the solution.
• Facilitate adoption and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate exchanges between business units, technical teams, and the project team.
• Ensure the proper translation of needs into functional requirements, without replacing the Product Owner, architect, or experts.
• Information systems managed by BPCE-SI (NEOS Caisse d'épargne / Banque Populaire, various producer IS).
• Databases: DB2, Oracle, MSSql, PostgreSQL.
• Development streams covering all IS domains: Mainframe, Péricentral, workstation.
• Pilot project on agent AI technologies.
• Project methodology specific to the BPCE group, based on agility.
• Tools: Confluence and Jira for documentation and management.
