As CISO, you are responsible for ensuring information security within KNMI and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. You will manage policies, risks, and advise on cybersecurity issues.
Project overview
As CISO, you are responsible for ensuring information security within KNMI and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Managing and updating information security policy in accordance with BIO 2.0
- Participating in the KNMI Compliancy team
- Identifying and recording risks, including drafting explanations and risk acceptances
- Participating in the Risk Management team
- Coordinating and supporting security tests and risk analyses
- Advising on cybersecurity issues, both requested and unrequested, within the CIO Office
- Fulfilling the CISO role on behalf of KNMI within the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, together with an internal colleague
- Advising on the procurement of services and goods with an impact on cybersecurity
- Demonstrable knowledge at CISM level
- Knowledge of the Cybersecurity Act and the BIO 2.0 framework
- Demonstrable experience with information security risk management
- Minimum 1 year of experience as CISO within the National Government
- HBO work and thinking level
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
