Prefer Chandler but OK with Las Colinas and Charlotte
Position 2: Cloud Automation / Platform Automation Engineer
- Strong developer / engineering mindset is mandatory.
- Strong experience in cloud automation, platform automation, or infrastructure automation.
- Candidates from Software Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering backgrounds can be considered.
- Strong scripting or programming experience, such as:
- Python
- Shell/Bash
- APIs
- Infrastructure/platform automation
- Experience building automation rather than simply executing existing automation.
- Ability to design and develop automation for cloud or platform environments.
- Experience with automation around:
- Applications
- Infrastructure
- Clusters
- Deployment workflows
- Platform operations
- Orchestration
- AI-enabled automation experience is highly desirable.
- Strong cloud experience is valuable even if OpenShift exposure is limited.
- OpenShift experience is preferred but can be trained for an otherwise strong automation engineer.
- Should understand how applications or automation workflows interact with platforms such as OCP/OpenShift.
- Must demonstrate strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capability.
- Preference for engineers who understand how systems work internally rather than candidates focused only on tool execution.
- Should be able to solve problems independently and improve existing processes through automation.
- Strong candidates should be technically deep in at least one core area rather than having superficial experience across many tools.
- Hybrid working model expected.
- Visa transfer candidates can be considered for strong technical profiles.
