Project overview

Context

Player in the energy sector. Smart Meter IT department, responsible for the quality of remote meter reading and customer energy calculation, making consumption data available to the rest of the IT system, and supervising the fleet of connected devices. Redesign project for the remote meter reading platform: modernization of the user experience, evolution of the technical architecture beyond the current AWS foundation, guaranteed service continuity. Integration into the transformation team, with participation in maintaining the operational conditions of the current application.

Missions

• Lead workshops with the business, challenge needs, and write meeting minutes
• Write general and detailed functional specifications, document impacted business processes, get specifications and mockups validated by the business
• Study the impact of the redesign on existing remote meter reading functionalities and flows
• Create and track the JIRA backlog, write user stories with their acceptance criteria, propose their prioritization to the AMOA manager
• Lead meetings with the development team (daily, refinement), present stories, validate deliveries, and contribute to the release plan
• Define the testing strategy, write test cases in Squash, perform end-to-end functional testing
• Contribute to the preparation, monitoring, and validation of the cutover: interface testing, data migration, using querying and API testing tools
• Analyze and qualify production incidents and forward them to the development team
• Contribute to the product vision and ensure the interface between business departments and the development team
