The role involves the technical coordination of electrical and civil coordinators, experts, and contractors within a project, focusing on electrical installations for power and heat generation plants.
Responsibilities
Profile
- Technical coordination of electrical and civil coordinators, experts, and contractors within the project
- Technical coordination of project-specific interests in the program – explicitly to place the project's site setup and logistics requirements within the program with the central construction site
- Discipline-specific technical monitoring and technical support of all electrical installations for power and heat generation plants (high, medium, and low voltage), electrical, power plant-specific tasks such as grid connection, power distribution, protection technology, switchgear, transformers, electrical systems, generators, installation technology, uninterruptible backup power supply, drives, taking into account DIN, VDE, and VGB guidelines in German and English
- Discipline-specific technical monitoring of the electrical interfaces of the existing plant during the integration of the new plant (power distribution, grounding, slot protection, ...)
- Participation in project meetings and negotiations, e.g., additional payment negotiations
- Quality assurance and quality control during the construction and commissioning phase
- Execution/coordination of electrical commissioning
- Technical coordination with planning engineers regarding discipline-specific quality monitoring tasks
- Quality monitoring during the erection of electrical systems
- Discipline-specific technical advice on incoming goods inspection, quality checks, acceptance tests, final assembly inspection, acceptances, and documentation checks
- Leadership, organization, and PM skills
- Good communication skills
- Experience with switchgear or substations
- Electrical background is an advantage
