Seeking an experienced Senior IT Consultant for a digitalization project in the rail and infrastructure sector, focusing on the cross-site implementation of a digital maintenance solution and process standardization.
Project overview
For a digitalization project in the rail and infrastructure environment, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Consultant (m/f/d). The focus is on planning, steering, and coordinating the cross-site introduction of a digital maintenance solution and the standardization of existing processes.
Responsibilities
- Planning, steering, and coordination of cross-site software rollouts
- Creation and further development of rollout roadmaps, including schedule, resource, and milestone planning
- Analysis and harmonization of existing manufacturing and maintenance processes
- Conducting Fit-to-Standard assessments
- Preparation and moderation of status and steering meetings
- Planning and coordination of integration and acceptance tests
- Creation of cutover, go-live, hypercare, and rollback concepts
- Execution of change, communication, and training measures
- Ensuring master data quality and handover to operations and support
Requirements

- More than 3 years of experience in the introduction and scaling of complex software solutions
- More than 5 years of experience in cross-departmental project coordination (at least 2 project references)
- Profound knowledge of vehicle maintenance and maintenance processes in the rail context
- More than 3 years of experience with legal and regulatory requirements for the introduction of digital solutions
- Certification as Lead Auditor according to ISO/IEC 42001 or comparable qualification
- Experience in change and stakeholder management
- Knowledge in process standardization and master data quality
- Experience in test and rollout management
- good English skills and very good German skills
- Location: Remote 90%, Cottbus 10%
