Consulting Assignment | ICT Manager

Project overview

We are now looking for an experienced person in ICT governance for our client.

The role is central to the bank's continued development. It combines practical implementation with supplier management, control, and follow-up, with the aim of ensuring stable, secure, and well-documented IT services.

Main Responsibility

Establish local ICT processes and instructions, adapted to Swedish requirements and the group's working methods

Coordinate and follow up on IT services from the group and external suppliers, including service levels, agreements, and dependencies

Drive the operational implementation of relevant DORA requirements together with CISO, Risk, Compliance, and Legal

Ensure functioning processes for incidents, changes, continuity, and recovery

Maintain system and supplier lists and follow up on ICT risks, controls, and action plans

Report ICT status and significant deficiencies to the CTO and Swedish management.

The First Three Months

Map systems, suppliers, group dependencies, and responsibilities

Develop a prioritized action plan and establish supplier follow-up and ICT reporting

Ensure the central operational processes and conduct a documented continuity or recovery test.

Role Placement

The role is in the first line of defense and is responsible for operational ICT governance and implementation. You report to the CTO, who is responsible for technology strategy and architecture. The CISO is responsible for security governance, and Risk/Compliance for independent control.

We are looking for you who have

At least five years of relevant experience in IT governance, IT operations, or ICT supplier management

Experience from banking or other regulated financial operations

Practical knowledge of DORA and the ability to translate requirements into functioning processes and controls

Experience with outsourced IT services, incident management, and business continuity work

Good technical understanding of cloud services, integrations, permissions, and IT infrastructure

Ability to write clear instructions and management reports in Swedish and English.

You are structured, action-oriented, and collaborative. You drive activities to completion, set clear requirements for suppliers, and can explain technical issues to both the business and management.
