Project overview

An international energy company is seeking an experienced Software Solution Specialist for Service Management tools to strengthen its User Support product team in Brussels.

The User Support product is part of the Digital Workplace product line and delivers robust, user-friendly tools that enable other products and teams to provide excellent support services. The team provides second-level support for Service Management tools and adapts workflows to offer turnkey solutions for several key business areas. The main tool is an established Service Management solution through which employees submit their requests and support agents handle and resolve tickets.

Responsibilities

• Implementation and development of functional and technical customer requirements through configuration or scripting
• Ensuring operation and software maintenance within the team
• Advising key users on IT Service Management issues and best practices
• Participation in end-to-end activities of new developments and configurations
• Initiation and participation in further developments and improvements
• Support for integration into the application and system landscape
• Support for testing and training of end users

Requirements

• University degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience with Service Management tools and current knowledge
• Knowledge of ITIL-based Service Management
• Experience with JavaScript
• Sound experience in planning, development, operation, and further development of applications or software systems
• Advantageous: Knowledge of similar tools, MS SQL, SOAP and REST APIs, IT Operations Management, agile methods
• Fluent English; good level in other languages is an advantage
• Proactive with good analytical and teamwork skills
