Major telecommunications player seeks a Cross-functional Architect for B2C projects, focusing on offers, sales, customer lifecycle, and commercial catalog. The role involves leading study phases, defining transverse architecture solutions, and managing functional impacts.
Project overview
Our client, a major player in the telecommunications sector, is looking for a Cross-functional Architect to work on transverse projects in the B2C domain, particularly around offers, sales, customer lifecycle, and the commercial catalog. The architect will lead the study phase and define transverse architecture solutions as well as their functional impacts on the relevant applications and technical systems.
Missions: co-construct the solution with business stakeholders, challenge needs and propose work packages; carry out scoping and prepare project commitments; analyze business needs and customer journeys; estimate forecast workloads for development teams; lead workshops with business stakeholders and development teams; write scoping documents, architecture specifications, and functional requirements under Confluence; produce impacted diagrams, schematics, and processes; provide functional support during development up to commissioning, particularly in handling design discrepancies and participating in testing and acceptance.
The scope includes ad-hoc studies of approximately 5 days or strategic studies lasting several months. A study generally lasts 1.5 to 2 months, and up to 4 months for complex projects involving up to 30 systems.
Profile sought: solid experience in functional architecture or senior Business Analysis, with autonomy and leadership skills. Good understanding of application architectures and flows, particularly APIs and file exchanges, and the ability to communicate with business stakeholders and technical teams. Knowledge of architecture methods such as eTOM or TOGAF is appreciated, without dogmatic application.
Experience in telecommunications, FTTH, 5G, CRM, sales and offers, service catalog, billing, finance/SAP, IAM, or SQL is an asset. Experience with a commercial catalog would be appreciated. Technical English required for network/FTTH scopes.
Start date planned for December 1, 2026. Freelance contract, based in Meudon, with 2 days of remote work per week.
