Project overview

Context

Our client is migrating its internal payment brick (interface between the e-commerce front-end and its payment provider) to the new applications of this provider, which is ending its historical solutions: the deadline is therefore constrained.

A first brand of the group has already been migrated for over a year; the second remains to be done.

Prioritization of payment methods by turnover (visible ROI).

Working Conditions

• Migration of the Payment brick.
• Ensure the technical success of the migration: architecture, quality, reliability, and security of the brick, and upskilling of the development team.
• Define and validate the target architecture of the payment brick and its migration trajectory.
• Supervise the tech lead and developers; set standards (quality, testing, reviews, CI/CD).
• Secure the transitions: progressive deployment strategy, rollback, monitoring, acceptance testing plan.
• Manage integrations with the payment provider's APIs.
• Handle infrastructure and access issues (network, VPN / bastion, environments, security).
• Ensure compliance (PCI-DSS, data security) with the client's security teams.
• Provide visibility (risks, progress, debt) to the CTO.
• Hybrid on-prem / cloud environment (Azure appreciated).
• Payment provider's API.
• Quality, testing, reviews, CI/CD standards.
• PCI-DSS security, network, VPN, bastion.
• Format: reinforcement mission (freelance or consultant), ASAP start.
• Duration: 8 months, renewable.
• Location: Île-de-France (Paris southeast, accessible by metro line 14), hybrid to be defined.
• Reporting: Web CTO (senior profile) / digital and IT management.
• Client interview with digital/IT management and Web CTO.
• Expected seniority: senior to very senior (direct reporting to CTO possible).
• Daily rate and duration to be defined according to profile.
