Cyber Defense Specialist Attack Surface Management (detach.)

Project overview

The assignment focuses on managing the attack surface of IT and OT infrastructure at Enexis.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Mapping and analyzing the attack surface within IT and OT environments
• Identifying vulnerabilities and misconfigurations in technical systems
• Analyzing and triaging scan results and enriching with context and threat intelligence (e.g., CVSS, EPSS)
• Verifying that fixes work correctly and advising management teams on remediation and mitigation
• Configuring and managing asset discovery tools for endpoints, servers, network equipment, and cloud
• Analyzing discovery data, detecting shadow IT, and performing reconciliation with the CMDB
• Analyzing and combining data from various security sources into a risk picture
• Building and maintaining reporting dashboards, for example in Power BI, Splunk, or ServiceNow
• Collaborating and coordinating with management teams, SOC, and security architects
• Knowledge of IT security topics such as networks, cloud, and operating systems
• Knowledge of or strong interest in Operational Technology (OT)
• Affinity with security tooling such as vulnerability scanners
• Experience with scripting, for example in Python, for data analysis
• Analytical and communication skills to translate technical findings into advice
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English
