Data Analyst with AI Focus

Project overview

We are looking for a data analyst with an AI focus who combines high technical competence with the ability to translate data into decisions. You will work along the entire analysis chain – from data modeling and tracking to insights that drive product development for a digital service with millions of users. AI is an integrated part of your way of working: you will use LLMs to explore questions, build analysis flows, and make data more accessible, and you know where technology creates real value.

You will be part of both a cross-functional product team with developers, product owners, designers, and UX, and an analyst team with shared responsibility for the data domain.

• Explore and analyze data to create insights that drive product development forward.
• Contribute to developing and improving a shared account creation process used in multiple digital services.
• Build, maintain, and further develop data models in dbt.
• Ensure data quality and implement tracking.
• Work hypothesis-driven, for example with A/B testing, and follow up on results so they become useful in decision-making.
• Use AI and LLMs to explore questions, develop solutions, and build tools that make data and insights more accessible.
• Review and validate AI-assisted analyses.
• Communicate insights through storytelling and visualization, making complex data understandable for different audiences.
• Collaborate closely with developers to understand data flows and technical dependencies and create sustainable analysis solutions.
• Take initiative to improve the team's working methods, tools, and analytical capabilities.

• Very good knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Experience with data modeling and semantic layers, as well as familiarity with tools like Git, BigQuery, and dbt.
• Good understanding of current AI tools and how AI can be used in analysis work.
• Experience using LLMs in analysis work and a good understanding of their strengths and limitations.
• Practical experience building analysis flows with LLMs.
• Experience with exploratory analysis and working hypothesis-driven with data.
• Experience working with data quality, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience visualizing and communicating data, for example through visualization tools or custom-built analysis interfaces.
• Experience with development (frontend and/or backend)
• Real-time data, large amounts of event data, or streaming data
• User-facing digital services and streaming services
