Database Administrator Oracle

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator for a long-term project assignment with a public sector client. The position is advertised on a freelance basis and offers a planned duration of up to 24 months with a high remote component and only occasional on-site appointments.

Your tasks include the installation and configuration of new Oracle databases, the administration and operation of existing database environments, and the execution of monitoring measures. You will be responsible for backup and recovery management, perform error analyses, and resolve disruptions during ongoing operations. Furthermore, you will optimize existing processes and create technical documentation.

For this position, you bring several years of experience as an Oracle DBA or database administrator. You have sound knowledge of Oracle databases and SQL, as well as experience in operating complex enterprise environments. Knowledge in monitoring, backup, and recovery is required. Experience in the public sector or with authorities is an advantage. ITIL knowledge or corresponding certifications are desirable.

Important: For the assignment, social security-obligated employment is required or alternatively employment through a personnel service provider. A security check is required or you must be willing to carry one out.
