Senior Data Engineer DBT

Project overview

As part of strengthening its Data teams, a player in the digital services sector is looking for an experienced Data Engineer on DBT to work on data transformation and modeling projects.

You will participate in the design and development of data models with DBT, particularly in an architecture organized into different layers: staging, intermediate, and marts.

Your missions will focus on:

Knowledge of a data orchestrator like Airflow, Dagster, or an equivalent tool will be appreciated.

Profile sought

You have at least two years of confirmed experience with DBT and possess solid experience in data engineering.

You are autonomous, rigorous, and capable of quickly integrating into an existing team. You also have a good level of communication in French.

• Data modeling and transformation with DBT.
• Creation and maintenance of data tests.
• Documentation of models and processes.
• Deployment of DBT developments.
• Development and optimization of SQL processes.
• Exploitation of a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or an equivalent environment.
• Version management with Git.
• Integration of developments into a CI/CD pipeline.
• Application and guarantee of compliance with technical standards and Data architecture best practices.
• Contribution to data governance and quality initiatives.
• Mastery of DBT: modeling, testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Good command of SQL.
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse, particularly Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or an equivalent environment.
• Knowledge of Data architectures organized in staging, intermediate, and marts layers.
• Mastery of Git and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Airflow, Dagster, or an equivalent orchestrator.
• Sensitivity to data governance and quality issues.
