Mission Context

The client is looking for a senior DevOps profile to ensure the operation, supervision, and maintenance of the Google Cloud Platform infrastructures that make up the Landing Zone.

The mission focuses on service continuity, incident and change management, preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as continuous improvement of availability, security, performance, and cost control levels.

The consultant will work closely with Cloud teams, production teams, security teams, network teams, and application teams.

• ensuring the daily operation of GCP environments;
• processing requests, incidents, and changes according to the client's ITIL processes;
• contributing to the analysis and resolution of production incidents;
• monitoring recurring problems and proposing remediation actions;
• maintaining the Landing Zone components in operational condition;
• performing preventive and corrective maintenance operations;
• supervising infrastructures, services, flows, and availability indicators;
• analyzing alerts from Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Cloud Trace, and Error Reporting;
• participating in on-call duties or support arrangements provided by the client, if applicable;
• maintaining IAM rules, service accounts, Workload Identity, and privileged access;
• verifying the compliance of Cloud configurations with security standards;
• contributing to the management of certificates, secrets, keys, and security rules;
• ensuring the monitoring of backups, restores, and recovery tests;
• participating in network changes concerning VPC, Cloud VPN, Cloud NAT, peering, and DNS;
• integrating GCP tools with the information system's supervision and management tools;
• contributing to cost control and optimization;
• updating operating procedures and knowledge bases;
• ensuring skills transfer to the client's teams.
