DevOps Engineer Linux & Kubernetes

Project overview

For an established company in the Nuremberg region, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on Linux and Kubernetes. The project is planned for 6 months with an option for extension and will be staffed full-time. The working method is designed as hybrid: 20% on-site, 80% remote possible.

Your tasks include the setup, further development, and stable operation of Kubernetes clusters. You will administer and optimize Linux systems and the associated infrastructure, analyze disruptions, and develop sustainable solutions. Another focus is on the automation of infrastructure and operational processes. You will work closely with the team, share your knowledge, and explore new technologies together.

We expect sound practical experience in the administration and operation of Linux systems as well as comprehensive know-how in the setup and operation of Kubernetes clusters. A good understanding of DevOps principles and collaboration between development and operations is required. Ideally, you have experience with automation tools, Infrastructure as Code, or scripting languages.

Furthermore, we value an independent, reliable way of working, willingness to learn, and an open, easy-going personality. Technical competence is important, but so is your ability to contribute constructively to the team, share knowledge, and remain calm even when facing challenges.

The project starts by arrangement. Interested candidates are asked to get in touch promptly.
