Senior DevOps Engineer – Digital Onboarding & Product Opening

Project overview

For an established financial institution in Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to help design and operate a new platform for digital onboarding and product opening.

In this role, you will independently develop and further develop services and operate them yourself – development and operation are in one hand. You will work in an agile DevOps team within a SAFe construct, closely collaborating with Product Owners, Business Engineers, and Architecture.

Your main tasks include the new and further development of services, their operation including availability and stability, verification against internal and external security standards, improvement of operational processes, and conceptual co-design. You will advise the business department on feasibility and variant formation and do not just implement specifications.

Solid knowledge in backend (Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, Kotlin), cloud (Azure, Kubernetes, Helm, PostgreSQL), and frontend (TypeScript, Angular, HTML5, CSS3) is required – true full-stack know-how. You have experience in security verification, work agilely, and possess five to eight years of relevant professional experience.

Experience with digital onboarding or product opening processes is advantageous, but not a must. Technical strength and the technology stack are decisive.

We expect German at C1 level; English B1 is sufficient. The position is designed for 25 months with an option for extension and starts in December 2026 in Zurich on a full-time basis.
