DevOps Engineer - Microsoft Entra ID/ Azure / Terraform 100% - Zurich

Project: For our client in the banking sector, we are looking for an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer for the further development and expansion of the Microsoft Azure platform within the Azure Basis Team. The focus is on optimizing Microsoft Entra ID and its associated automation. You will also support the integration of new Azure base services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation solutions for Microsoft Entra ID and related services using Terraform and APIs with Go.
• Configure and optimize App Registrations, Enterprise Applications, Conditional Access policies, and Administrative Units.
• Develop, implement, and maintain authentication and authorization flows with OAuth 2.0, SAML, and OpenID Connect for SSO and other applications.
• Develop conceptual specifications for OAuth 2.0 and SAML flows and their implementation in various applications.
• Create and continuously optimize authentication and authorization rules, including automated tests and monitoring.
• Manage and optimize Azure and Microsoft 365 services in the areas of identity management and security.
• Contribute current developments for hardening Entra ID and further develop the framework for configuration monitoring.
• Support the integration of new Azure base services.
• Create technical documentation and train internal teams on Entra ID and DevOps topics.

• Several years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure and in-depth knowledge of Azure base services.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, particularly Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and Application Proxy.
• In-depth practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation, as well as tools and programming languages such as GitLab, Go, Python, or Bash.
• Good understanding of network security, IAM standards, and authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
• Experience in applying cloud security technologies.
• Experience with agile development methods such as Scrum or SAFe.
• Completed IT education at FH/University level or equivalent.
• Analytical and conceptual thinking, as well as a structured and self-responsible way of working.
• High quality and security awareness, as well as a communicative, team- and customer-oriented personality.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, especially in the area of identity management and security, is an advantage.
• German: C2 or native
• English: B2
