Job description
As a Domain Architect, you will be end-to-end responsible for the SCADA capability within the OT domain, developing vision, target architecture, and migration scenarios.
Project overview
As Domain Architect, you are end-to-end responsible for the SCADA capability within the OT domain.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Inventory the complete SCADA capability, including processes, data, organization, applications, technology, integrations, and management
- Develop the vision, target architecture, and transition architecture for SCADA within OT, aligned with the architecture for Electricity
- Translate the architecture into feasible migration scenarios, with associated intermediate steps, dependencies, risks, test strategies, cut-over approach, and fallback plans
- Develop the roadmap and approach together with the program manager and monitor coherence and quality during realization
- Guide, coach, and develop delivery teams in independence and ownership
- Collaborate within the team of OT architects on consistent architectural frameworks
- Ensure safety, cybersecurity, availability, business continuity, and manageability within the architecture
- Provide substantive input for tenders, supplier choices, and the SCADA strategy
- Prepare and present architecture-strategic decisions to management
- Working and thinking level at Bachelor's degree (HBO) level, preferably obtained through education in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a comparable field
- Minimum of ten years of relevant experience as an architect with a demonstrable engineering and realization mindset
- Demonstrable experience within SCADA, industrial automation, process control, or similar business-critical OT environments
- Proven experience in setting up and executing complex migrations, including transition architecture, testing, cut-over, fallback, and commissioning
- Knowledge of safety, cybersecurity, availability, and business continuity translated into architectural choices
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages, spoken and written
