🏠 1 day of remote work / week - 📍 Grenoble (38) - Crolles - 🛠 Minimum 3 years of experience

Do you develop in embedded C and understand the constraints of low-level radio communications?

Do you want to take technical responsibility for a radio stack, from its evolution to its integration on different platforms?

We are looking for an Embedded C Firmware Developer specializing in radio protocols to work with one of our clients.

Your role: take responsibility for a radio software component, evolve its functionalities, strengthen communication security, and ensure its reliability.

Your missions: evolve and make reliable an embedded radio stack

You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of the radio component, from low-level development to validation and integration.

1/ Firmware and radio protocols development

2/ Testing, validation, and integration

3/ Technical responsibility and software quality

  • Take ownership of the existing radio stack, its drivers, and its documentation, then assume technical responsibility for it.
  • Evolve protocols and drivers according to the needs of different platforms.
  • Integrate security mechanisms related to the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA): frame encryption and authentication, protection against replay attacks, key management, and Over-The-Air (OTA) updates via radio.
  • Study, with the architect and RF engineer, the possibilities of high-speed radio communication for image detectors.
  • Converge the radio interface with that of the Beta component.
  • Develop and implement unit tests, regression tests, and bench protocol tests.
  • Implement continuous integration of the component under Azure DevOps.
  • Ensure Pull Request (PR) reviews and validations with the deputy technical referent.
  • Manage component versions, tags, and release notes.
  • Document Architecture Decision Records (ADR) and ensure their traceability.
  • Maintain technical documentation and transfer knowledge to the team.
