As an Energy Director, you will guide energy initiatives from idea to realization within a provincial work area. You will support initiatives focused on better utilization of the electricity grid, including in cases of grid congestion.

As an energy director, you will guide energy initiatives from idea to realization within a provincial work area.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Support initiatives aimed at better utilization of the electricity grid, including in cases of grid congestion
- Guide both individual solutions and collective approaches such as energy hubs
- Prepare an action plan and concrete advisory reports with solution directions and bottlenecks
- Share acquired knowledge and products with municipalities, grid operators, and other stakeholders
- Identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities based on practical experience
- Translate findings into recommendations for provincial policy
- HBO work and thinking level
- Minimum 8 years of work experience in the field of energy transition
- Proven knowledge of the energy system
- Minimum 3 years of knowledge of and experience with public administration and associated decision-making processes
- Driving license B
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience in a steering role in energy projects, such as PV projects or energy cooperatives
- Minimum 3 years of experience with public-private partnerships
