Enterprise Architect Business – Infrastructure Management

Project overview

For a multi-year infrastructure portfolio in the public sector, we are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect with a focus on business.

Starting Situation:

Our client is responsible for nationally significant infrastructure throughout its entire lifecycle. While the central body sets strategic standards, regional units and external partners carry out the operational work – from data collection to project execution. This has led to different practices and processes, making nationwide comparability difficult. Goals and process descriptions currently only exist partially, and the tasks of maintenance planning are distributed across several organizational units.

Responsibilities

• Development and further refinement of the business architecture with a focus on business capabilities, processes, roles, and responsibilities
• Modeling of business and organizational contexts
• Analysis of relevant business processes from an architectural perspective
• Development of target states and business architecture principles
• Gap analysis between current and target states with a prioritized roadmap
• Consolidation of different business requirements while adhering to existing standards
• Stakeholder analysis and development of decision-making bases

Requirements

You have sound knowledge of TOGAF, ArchiMate, BPMN, and UML. Experience in infrastructure or portfolio management architecture is an advantage. You work in a structured manner, can model complex issues, and integrate different stakeholder perspectives.
