Seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with an IT focus to join a cross-functional team shaping the digital future of a significant public sector infrastructure portfolio. The role involves developing architectural options, analyzing and documenting the existing IT landscape, and guiding the implementation of target architectures.
Project overview
For a significant infrastructure portfolio in the public sector, we are looking for an experienced enterprise architect with a focus on IT.
Responsibilities
You will strengthen the core team of a cross-divisional portfolio for shaping the digital future. Based on strategic and business objectives, you will develop different architectural options for the future IT landscape – from information and data architecture to applications and integration to technology. You will analyze and document the existing IT architecture, evaluate options based on business, technical, economic, and strategic criteria, and prepare well-founded decision-making bases. Based on the decisions, you will concretize target and transition architectures and support their implementation.
Further tasks include close coordination with internal business units and technical departments, analysis of impacts on existing applications and infrastructure, identification of technical risks, and architectural support for specific initiatives and evaluations.
Requirements
You have a university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Geomatics, or a comparable field – or an equivalent education with further training. Sound knowledge of Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF, ArchiMate, BPMN, UML) is required. You have extensive experience in IT architecture design and can structure and visualize complex issues.
