Enterprise Platform Architect – AI Architecture & Governance

Project overview

For a leading company in the Swiss transport and infrastructure sector, we are looking for an experienced Enterprise Platform Architect to develop a company-wide architecture for artificial intelligence.

In this role, you will shape the strategic foundation for the secure and efficient use of AI throughout the company. You will develop a pragmatic, phased architectural vision and define the necessary organizational and technical measures.

Responsibilities

The initial phase lasts approximately eight weeks; after that, the team will be gradually expanded with additional Platform Architects.

We are looking for a personality with in-depth experience in Enterprise Architecture, AI Governance, and organizational transformation. Ideally, you have knowledge of AI platforms, security, and compliance.

• Development of scope, delimitation, and architectural vision for company-wide AI usage
• Structuring of relevant AI capability fields (Control, Platform, Transparency, Governance)
• Identification and prioritization of critical architectural questions
• Definition of required architecture workstreams and their staffing
• Development of architectural concepts, principles, and target states
• Translation of the overall architecture into concrete requirements for platforms and shared services
• Definition of governance mechanisms, responsibilities, and organizational frameworks
• Support in creating and prioritizing an actionable roadmap
